Nick Gilbert is something of an expert, coming from a family where they grow over 400 varieties of Dahlias on his plot in Romsey, the plot is arranged alphabetically as a kind of living dictionary.

Dr. Stephen Head - Garden Ponds for Wildlife
Stephen worked as an academic ecologist and zoologist at Oxford University, and in universities in Jamaica and Oman. He subsequently ran large conservation charities before volunteering nearly full time to run the Wildlife Gardening Forum.
